Crimpers most often don't get proper lubrication because it is time consuming and often messy. The moly disulfide greases recommended for many years, while effective, tend to get on hands, clothing and the finished product. They are often very difficult to remove.

CrimpX is an entirely new kind of die lubricant that goes on clean, stays clean and doesn't leave a greasy residue on hands and clothes. Unlike greases, it doesn?t attract and hold dirt and chips which can cause damage to both dies and crimpers.

CrimpX is unique in that it is a self healing lubricant. As the lubrication properties wear off, the sliding friction in the areas of contact activate a complex blend of synthetic esters drawn from the surrounding area which renew and repair the protective coating.
